PokerStars on FanDuel’s Summer Sendoff Freeroll Series Reaches Final Stretch
Five events remain, including a $500 PLO Turbo tonight and a $5,000 GTD finale on Sept. 13
PokerStars on FanDuel’s Summer Sendoff Freeroll Series has reached its closing phase, with five events left in the 10-day, zero-buy-in promo. Players are still chasing cash and MTT tickets across PLO, NLHE and hyper-turbo formats.
The freeroll festival runs Sept. 4-13 as a run-up to the September Dynasty Series. Poker.org described the run as free to play, with guarantees ranging from $250 to $5,000 and mostly hold’em action plus one PLO event.
PokerNews reported that the final stretch kicks off tonight at 20:00 with Event #6. SCCG identifies it as a $500 GTD Pot-Limit Omaha Turbo, and it is the only PLO tournament in the schedule, giving four-card players a risk-free shot at prizes.
Thursday brings a $1,000 GTD NLHE event for straight cash prizes. Friday and Saturday night hyper-turbos hand out Spin & Go entries.
SCCG frames freerolls of this kind as a retention tool, because they can keep poker traffic active without added acquisition costs. The series ends on Sept. 13 with a $5,000 GTD Sunday Finale, the biggest prize pool in the run, and that last event will pay a mix of cash and MTT tickets.
