CSCcardGREEN took the official CoinMillion title after striking a heads-up deal with reveur in CoinPoker’s latest $215 event. The two-day tournament drew 4,766 entries from 3,588 unique players, and the deal made it the fourth heads-up settlement across the flagship’s nine editions.
The event had originally listed a $104,182 first prize. Instead, CSCcardGREEN collected $91,035 as champion and reveur received $87,821 for second place. Both finalists were on their second entries of the tournament.
The result highlights how often the large-field event has ended in a negotiated finish. Card Player said the prospect of six-figure top prizes can make players more inclined to secure extra money rather than play on for the full advertised first prize. Eighth-place finisher ILOVEMILFs earned $10,779.
The latest field was slightly smaller than the 4,891 entries recorded for the Oct. 18 CoinMillion, when Kgbseven beat whalefish heads-up without a deal and won $120,500. That event was the first after CoinPoker made the tournament a permanent weekly fixture.
CoinPoker describes CoinMillion as a $215, $1 million-guaranteed weekly tournament. It begins on Sunday and resumes Monday for the surviving players, with a 100,000-chip starting stack, 10-minute blind levels and late registration available through Level 19. The final table plays seven-handed, and CoinPoker says each champion receives physical and digital trophies.
Players can also reach the event through satellites starting at $5.50, alongside daily freerolls and step qualifiers.
