Free ACR Poker Telegram Ticket Leads to $14,384 Sunday Smash Payout
ANDREWNEIDING1 advanced through a 100-seat satellite and joined a closing deal in the $33 OSS XL event.
ACR Poker player ANDREWNEIDING1 turned a free ticket from the site’s official Telegram channel into a $14,384.42 payout in the $33 OSSXL #339H Sunday Smash.
The ticket provided entry to a 100-seat guaranteed satellite. ANDREWNEIDING1 advanced through that qualifier to reach the Sunday Smash, then stayed in contention through the closing stages before making a deal for the five-figure payout.
A WebWire release said the tournament finished with a $106,800 prize pool, above the $100,000 guarantee cited in its event name. The free ticket created the initial opportunity, but the player still had to qualify through the satellite and make the deep Sunday Smash run.
The result came during OSS XL, which concluded Sept. 29, as we reported. ACR Poker’s schedule for the series’ final Sunday, Sept. 27, listed a $33 Sunday Smash with a $150,000 guarantee. That differs from the $100,000 advertised guarantee in the subsequent result release, while both published accounts identify a $33 Sunday Smash.
The Telegram channel had launched less than a year before the release and counted about 9,400 members. It is used for promotions, tournament news, events, giveaways and rewards, with prior offers including cash, tournament tickets, satellite entries and SPINZ tickets.
ACR Poker said tens of thousands of dollars in value had already been distributed through the Telegram community. The channel also carries rapidly changing tournament schedules, new-series information, satellites and limited-time promotions, with notifications available for immediate updates.
