WPT Adds $3 Million Super Gold Million at Wynn Las Vegas
The $400 tournament runs Dec. 10-14 as a live-only version of ClubWPT Gold’s regular Gold Million.
The World Poker Tour has added the $400 Super Gold Million to its 2026 WPT World Championship festival at Wynn Las Vegas, with at least $3 million guaranteed. The tournament runs Dec. 10-14 and is exclusive to live play, rather than an online event.
PokerNews described the Super Gold Million as a live version of ClubWPT Gold’s regular Gold Million. Its guarantee is triple that of the regular Gold Million, and WPT executive tour director Matt Savage confirmed on X that the new event is live-only.
The $10,400 WPT World Championship has $1 million in mystery-bounty pulls added by WPT for players who make deep runs.
The Wynn festival runs from Nov. 27 through Dec. 21, covers 85 scheduled events and serves as the culmination of WPT’s 24th season. PokerNews described this as the festival’s fifth year at Wynn Las Vegas.
The $1,100 WPT Prime Championship runs Dec. 5-12 with a $5 million guarantee. The $10,400 World Championship then begins Dec. 13 with the first of three Day 1 flights, moves to Day 2 on Dec. 16, and has a livestreamed final table scheduled for Dec. 20.
The series opens with a $600 No-Limit Hold’em event carrying a $400,000 guarantee and closes with a $600 No-Limit Hold’em Turbo. The Super Gold Million overlaps the end of the Prime Championship and the opening phase of the World Championship.
