RunGood’s Houston Stop Features $510,000 in Guarantees
The Oct. 12-18 Golden Expedition stop is led by a $250,000-guaranteed Main Event, while listings differ on the Black Chip Bounty prize pool.
RunGood Poker Series will bring its Golden Expedition to Champions Club Houston from Oct. 12-18, with 11 ring events and $510,000 in guaranteed prize money. The seven-day Texas stop is led by a $600 RunGood Main Event carrying a $250,000 guarantee.
The festival opens Oct. 12 with the $400 Monster Stack Opener, a $100,000-guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event. Oct. 13 adds a $300 Seniors event with a $10,000 guarantee, a $300 Big Stack with $25,000 guaranteed, and a $300 Tag Team event that costs $150 per player and guarantees $5,000.
A $400 PokerNews PowerStack follows with Flights A and B on Oct. 14 and its final day on Oct. 15. The tournament carries a $50,000 guarantee. That day’s schedule also includes a $300 Pot-Limit Omaha event with $30,000 guaranteed, plus the $300 Black Chip Bounty.
There is one difference between the published listings for the bounty event. PokerNews listed its guarantee at $30,000, while RunGood’s own Champions Club schedule currently shows a $10,000 guarantee.
The Main Event begins with Flight A at 6 p.m. on Oct. 15. Flights B and C are set for Oct. 16, followed by Flights D and E on Oct. 17. RunGood’s schedule also includes a turbo Flight F on Oct. 18, before the Day 2 restart at 2 p.m. PokerNews plans live coverage from the Main Event through the awarding of the ring.
The final day also includes a $300 Ladies No-Limit Hold’em event with a $10,000 guarantee and a $400 Last Chance No-Limit Hold’em event with $20,000 guaranteed. Players can also enter a $375 RunGood Package Satellite, which bundles seats to the Main Event, PowerStack, a one-day ring event and Flip & Go, plus $275 in cash.
Houston is one of six new destinations on RunGood’s 2026 Golden Expedition fall schedule. The season also brought back the RunGood Player of the Year race, powered by The Hendon Mob and Global Poker Index, and introduced a new championship-ring design.
After Houston, the Golden Expedition is scheduled to conclude with the Dream Factory Festival at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California, from Nov. 27 through Dec. 3, including two invitational events for 2026 RunGood ring winners.
