RunGood Sets Golden Expedition for Caesars New Orleans
The 11-day stop brings 14 ring events, a $330,000 guarantee pool, and an $800 Main Event with a $200,000 guarantee.
RunGood Poker Series will take the RGPS Golden Expedition to Caesars New Orleans from Sept. 3-13, with 14 ring events and $330,000 in guarantees.
PokerNews will live report the $800 Main Event, which carries a $200,000 guarantee and begins Sept. 11 with the first of four starting flights before playing to a winner on Sept. 13. The opening Series Kickoff is a $400 two-day event with a $100,000 guarantee and five starting flights.
RunGood’s posted schedule also shows the Main Event flights stretching through Sept. 12, with the restart set for Sept. 13. The final day is not just for the championship, either, since the series also closes with the $400 Black Chip Bounty and the $200 Sendoff Turbo NLH.
The rest of the schedule leans into the usual mix of side events. The New Orleans stop includes a $200 Tag Team event, a $250 Seniors Event, a $300 Ladies event, a $300 Big Stack NLH ring event, and a $400 Pot-Limit Omaha event for mixed-game players.
As covered earlier, RunGood returned to New Orleans last year for the first time since 2015. That comeback stop drew 307 runners in the $800 Main Event and generated a $200,000 prize pool.
Jeremy Gaubert went on to win that event for $45,897, beating Zackary Poll heads-up to earn his first RunGood ring. The final table also included Brian Senie in third for $22,343, Charles Bartlett in fourth for $16,547, and Ronald Inman in fifth for $12,431.
