Octopi Poker Runs WSOP Final-Table Simulation and Free Pro Access
Matt Hunt used the actual seat draw and stack sizes for all nine returning players as Octopi Professional went free for 24 hours.
Octopi Poker ran a WSOP Main Event final-table simulation in a training video featuring Matt Hunt, and it also opened Octopi Professional to anyone for 24 hours. The free window started at 7am PT on Thursday, July 30, and the livestream began at 10am PT on the Octopi Poker YouTube channel, according to Poker.org. Octopi Professional normally costs $65 a month or $600 a year.
The preview leaned on Octopi’s The Vault, which lets users plug in seat draws and stack sizes and then study situations that often come up in tournament play. Hunt used the actual seat draw and stack sizes for all nine returning players.
PokerNews reported that the 2026 WSOP Main Event final table was set. Lucas Jumalon finished Day 8 with 194 million chips, far ahead of Rami Hammoud on 79 million and Jamie Shaevel on 56 million.
Jumalon entered the day with 40.8 million, then built a huge stack after cracking Malcolm Trayner’s queens with J♥ J♣ and making a river full house for a pot worth more than 50 million chips. He later eliminated Trayner in 10th place to lock in the final table.
The final nine were guaranteed at least $1 million each, with $10 million and the bracelet waiting for the champion. Play is due to resume on August 3 with 56:40 left in Level 39 at blinds of 1 million/1.5 million and a 1.5 million big blind ante.
