- Three Halloween Mystery PKOs start Sunday with guarantees ranging from $50,000 to $500,000.

- Venom Fever ends Sunday after guaranteeing 587 seats across the promotion.
Americas Cardroom will run the fifth and final starting flights of its $6.5 million Dual Venom PKOs on Sunday, Oct. 18, while also opening three Halloween Mystery PKO tournaments worth a combined $650,000 in guarantees.
The final Day 1s begin at 1:05 p.m. ET for the $5 million guaranteed no-limit hold’em event and $1.5 million guaranteed pot-limit Omaha event. Each costs $2,650 to enter. The series began Oct. 4 and has used five scheduled starting flights, with no sixth flight planned.
Players advancing from the final flights join Day 2 on Monday, Oct. 19, at 1:05 p.m. ET. The no-limit hold’em event also has a Day 3 on Oct. 20, and both tournaments reach their final tables Oct. 21 at 4:05 p.m. ET. Players who have already reached Day 2 cannot enter another Day 1 in that same Venom event.
The earlier edition of the Dual Venom pair produced about $7.85 million in combined prize pools, above this month’s $6.5 million guarantee. Its no-limit hold’em tournament drew 2,498 entries and paid more than $675,000 overall to winner Rigapols81, while the PLO event drew 641 entries and paid PohPohPohPAAAA $252,888 in combined prize money and bounties.
Sunday is also the first Day 1 for the Halloween Mystery PKO slate. The schedule includes a $109 buy-in, $500,000-guaranteed tournament, a $33 event with a $100,000 guarantee and a $5.50 event guaranteeing $50,000.
The Halloween events use hidden Mystery Bounties alongside visible Progressive Bounties. Knockouts on Day 1 do not pay bounties, and every player begins Day 2 with no accumulated progressive bounty. Once the bounty phase starts on Nov. 1, an elimination reveals a mystery prize: half is paid immediately and half is added to the winner’s progressive bounty. Half of an eliminated player’s accumulated progressive bounty is likewise paid out, with the other half transferred to the eliminator’s bounty.
Unlike the Dual Venom restriction on players who have bagged for Day 2, the Halloween tournaments allow entries across multiple Day 1 flights and combine qualifying stacks for Day 2. Venom Fever, the qualification promotion for the Dual Venoms, closes Sunday after guaranteeing 587 seats across its full run; its final Mega Satellites begin at 10:05 a.m. ET.
