King’s Resort Lines Up 59-Event IPS Summer Edition
Rozvadov’s August series is led by a €1.5 million guaranteed Main Event and a broad satellite path into the bigger buy-ins.
King’s Resort in Rozvadov will host the IPS Italian Poker Sport Summer Edition from Aug. 18 to Sept. 1, and the stop will feature 59 tournaments across the schedule. The headline is a €1.5 million guaranteed Main Event, while the rest of the series starts from €35 and tops out at €380 for the flagship event.
The Main Event is built around multiple starting flights. PokerNews says the opening options include Speed Day 1s, a Turbo flight, and a Flip and Go Pineapple flight, giving players both slower-paced and quicker ways into the tournament.
The timetable is spread across the end of August and the start of September. Day 1A Part 1 begins at 2 p.m. on Aug. 21, another Day 1 is set for King’s Prague on Aug. 28, and the field then moves to Day 2 on Aug. 30, Day 3 on Aug. 31, and the final day on Sept. 1.
Satellites start on Aug. 18 and give players cheaper routes into the bigger events. A €50 Main Event satellite guarantees €3,800 in prizes, while €35 satellites feed the €50,000 guaranteed IPS Summer Opener and €40 satellites qualify players for the €100,000 Mystery Bounty. The satellite schedule also includes events tied to specific Day 1 flights, plus options that let players choose between different starting flights.
The rest of the schedule leans into the usual IPS mix of formats and buy-ins. The series includes Mystery Bounties, Knockout events, Pot-Limit Omaha, Turbo tournaments, a Ladies Event, and a €700 High Roller.
A separate MTTDB listing describes the Summer Edition as a dedicated IPS summer stop at Rozvadov and puts the festival prize pool at €300,000. That listing says the format follows the familiar IPS blueprint of a multi-flight Main Event, side events, satellites, and mixed No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha action, with a 50,000-chip starting stack and levels that stretch from 40 to 60 minutes as play goes on.
MTTDB also says IPS stops at King’s have drawn very large fields in recent years. It cites the 54th edition, which passed 7,000 entries and generated more than €2.2 million in total prizes, and says Rozvadov prize pools often include added WSOP Europe Main Event tickets on top of the cash.
