The opener adds a $5,300 Championship seat to first and kicks off the series in Hollywood.
The 2026 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open opens with Event 1, the $300 Quad Stack Slater Scoops NLH. The opener carries a $100,000 guarantee and awards a $5,300 SHRPO Championship seat to first place.
The official event page says Andy Slater is hosting the tournament. It starts at 4 pm, gives players 40,000-chip starting stacks, and runs 20-minute levels.
Late registration and unlimited re-entries stay open until the start of Level 13 at 8:30 pm. The page describes the tournament as the special opener that kicks off the series.
The primary SHRPO flyer and the daily schedule both list Event 1 for Tuesday, July 28. The daily sheet spells it out as “The Opener – Slater Scoops Quad Stack NLH” with a $300 buy-in, the $100,000 guarantee, and the added seat to Event #43.
Hard Rock’s June announcement says the full SHRPO run goes from Tuesday, July 28 to Tuesday, Aug. 11. It lists a $400 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em with a $1 million guarantee for Wednesday, July 29, and says “The Big 4” finals will be staged simultaneously at the final tables with $4.75 million in combined prize pools.
The same release says the schedule also includes an $800 Platinum Stack with a $250,000 guarantee on Tuesday, Aug. 4, and a $10,000 Eight-Handed event with a $500,000 guarantee on Tuesday, Aug. 11. It adds that last year’s Big 4 paid out more than $6.3 million in total cash, and that Jake Cody won the SHRPO Championship for $510,850.
