ACR Poker Puts Seven Paradise Packages Alongside Halloween Bounty Launch

The Nov. 1 Mega carries $210,000 in Bahamas package value as three Mystery PKOs move into Day 2.

Key points
  1. ACR Poker’s Nov. 1 $1,050 WSOP Paradise Mega Satellite guarantees seven $30,000 Bahamas packages.
  2. Each package includes the $26,000 Super Main Event entry and room-only accommodation at SLS Baha Mar.
  3. The $650,000 Halloween Mystery PKO slate reaches its bounty phase on Nov. 1.
  4. The three tournaments had recorded 1,117 combined Day 2 qualifying spots as of Oct. 26.
  5. The Paradise package promotion continues with weekly Megas through Nov. 22.

ACR Poker’s Nov. 1 schedule combines another WSOP Paradise Mega Satellite with the bounty-stage launch of its three Halloween Mystery PKO tournaments. The $1,050 Mega begins at 3:05 p.m. ET and guarantees seven Bahamas packages worth $30,000 each, or $210,000 in total.

Each package includes the $26,000 buy-in to WSOP Paradise’s $50 million guaranteed Super Main Event, plus room-only accommodation at SLS Baha Mar from Dec. 5-18. Winners must cover travel, meals and other personal expenses. The Super Main Event runs Dec. 10-17.

As reported Oct. 25, the previous Mega also awarded all seven packages after drawing 190 entries. The Oct. 11 and Oct. 18 Megas each produced more than $50,000 in overlay, while the Oct. 25 event had a $20,000 overlay.

The Paradise promotion offers 100 packages overall through Nov. 22. Megas on Nov. 8 and Nov. 15 each guarantee seven packages, before the Nov. 22 event increases that number to eight. Players can enter $95 Beast satellites for a future Mega, with winners placed into the following Sunday’s tournament, meaning the Nov. 1 Beast feeds the Nov. 8 Mega rather than the day’s seven-package event.

The Halloween Mystery PKOs also reach Day 2 on Nov. 1, when eligible knockouts begin producing mystery and progressive bounty rewards. The three events carry $650,000 in combined guarantees: $500,000 in the $109 tournament, $100,000 in the $33 edition and $50,000 in the $5.50 event.

Daily starting flights began Oct. 18 and continue through Nov. 1. ACR Poker reported 1,117 combined Day 2 qualifying spots as of Oct. 26, up from 367 on Oct. 20. That total is not a count of unique players, since players can qualify through multiple flights and combine stacks under tournament rules.

The $109 event had 191 qualifying spots at that point, the $33 tournament had 171 and the $5.50 event had 755. ACR Pro Rob Kuhn had qualified for the $109 event, while Jeff Boski had secured stacks in both the $33 and $5.50 tournaments.

The Mystery PKO format combines a hidden prize with a progressive bounty. No bounties are paid during Day 1 and every Day 2 entrant begins with no accumulated progressive bounty. Once bounty play opens, half of a revealed mystery prize is paid immediately to the player scoring the knockout and half is added to that player’s progressive bounty; any existing bounty on the eliminated player is split the same way.

The format is described by ACR Poker as exclusive to the Winning Poker Network. The remaining Nov. 1 flights offer the final chance to reach the bounty stage before play moves into Day 2.
