Triton Brings Its Invitational to Asia in Jeju

The $200,000 event lands at Les A Casino from Sept. 12-14, with 18 pairings confirmed and more still to come.

The $200,000 Triton Invitational will make its Asian debut at Super High Roller Series Jeju II in Jeju, South Korea, running Sept. 12-14 at Les A Casino.

According to Triton’s announcement, the Invitational sits inside the broader Jeju stop that runs Sept. 4-17, and the weekend timing is meant to fit traveling businesspeople. The event is built around a curated field, with invitees paired with a poker professional of their choice, the two groups playing separately on Day 1 before the field merges later in the tournament.

As covered in our Aug. 16 report, the wider Asian schedule was already pointing toward Jeju, and Triton is now adding its own marquee weekend to that run. Triton says 18 pairings are already confirmed for Jeju II, with more still to come.

The current list includes Paul Phua and Phil Ivey, Bryn Kenney and Leonardo Drago, and Ethan Yau and Justin Saliba. Other confirmed names already on the board include Tony Ren Lin, Mehdi Chaoui, Jules Dickerson, Isaac Haxton, Artur Martirosian, Seth Davies, Ben Heath, Danny Tang and Kayhan Mokri.

Triton is also leaning on the Invitational’s recent history to frame the stop. It says four of the previous 10 editions were won by invitees, including Aaron Zang, Ramin Hajiyev, Aleksa Pavicevic and Alejandro Lococo, while six went to the pros’ side. The current runner record for the format is 137 entries from Montenegro in May, when Adrian Mateos won $6.37 million.

The Jeju push comes with some meaningful local context, too. Triton says its previous visits to Jeju have been especially popular, and that its 12 biggest tournaments by field size have all taken place in South Korea. In 2025, the tour drew 391 entries to a $25,000 no-limit hold’em event in Jeju and 285 entries to the $100,000 Main Event at the casino now known as LES A.

On the Jeju II schedule, the Invitational is listed with a 300,000-chip starting stack and 50-minute levels, with registration closing at 12 p.m. on Day 2.
