GGPoker Opens $2 Million Bounty Hunters Series Cash Drop
Qualifying cash-game pots award Flipout Chips for eight daily tournaments through Oct. 23.
GGPoker’s $2 million Bounty Hunters Series Cash Drop opens Oct. 2 and runs through Oct. 23, giving cash-game players entries into automatic Flipout tournaments rather than paying conventional cash drops.
Players earn Flipout Chips by making a net profit in eligible cash-game hands. The chips become their starting stacks in the next Flipout, so winning more qualifying pots can mean beginning the tournament with more chips.
The promotion covers Hold’em, PLO, PLO-5, PLO-6, Short Deck, Rush&Cash and All-in or Fold tables. The qualifying pot requirement varies by game: poker.pro lists thresholds of 50 big blinds for Hold’em, 16 big blinds for All-In or Fold Hold’em and 10 big blinds for Omaha.
Flipouts launch automatically every three hours, or eight times a day, following qualifying windows in which players can collect chips. The first seven daily events each carry a $10,000 cash-dollar prize pool, while the final daily Flipout guarantees C$20,000.
More than 10,000 Flipout players will receive prizes in cash dollars, which can be used for buy-ins at their preferred stakes. The format is open to all cash-game players rather than being limited to tournament entrants.
The Cash Drop runs alongside GGPoker’s Bounty Hunters Series, which lasts through Oct. 27. Tournament players can earn leaderboard points through eliminations during the series, while qualifying cash-game pots offer a separate route to Flipout Chips.
That makes the Cash Drop a bridge between the operator’s cash tables and its Bounty Hunters tournament schedule, with the promotion ending four days before the series closes.
