Stake Poker Adds a Weekly $15,000 Sunday Mystery Bounty
The $20 Weekly Treasure Hunt runs every Sunday through Dec. 31 and revives the Treasure Hunt idea with a bigger prize pool than the earlier Saturday version.
Stake Poker has added the Weekly Treasure Hunt, a recurring Sunday Mystery Bounty tournament with a $20 buy-in and a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool. The current promotion runs from Sept. 10 through Dec. 31, and players can find it in the Stake Poker tournament lobby under “The Weekly Treasure Hunt.”
According to PokerStrategy, the format pairs normal tournament payouts with randomized Mystery Bounty prizes. That means knockouts can unlock extra rewards before the final table, which gives recreational players an added bit of drama and gives regular MTT players another layer of strategy to work through.
As covered in our Sept. 8 report on the $125,000 Stake Showdown, Stake Poker has continued to add more pieces to its tournament calendar. The Treasure Hunt itself is not new, either. Earlier in 2026, Stake ran a Saturday version with a $10,000 guarantee and a $10 buy-in, so this latest edition shifts the action to Sunday and raises both the entry fee and the prize pool.
The appeal is straightforward. There are no multi-step missions or complicated qualification requirements, just a weekly event that players can enter directly and play for a share of the guarantee. For grinders, that makes it another fixed Sunday stop on the schedule, while the mystery bounty layer gives each elimination a little extra weight.
