While we all know that poker is primarily about skill, we also know that heaters are a real thing in this thrilling game. Case in point — PokerStars ambassador Arlie Shaban took down five titles in the first-ever PokerStars Ontario ONCOOP series.
Playing under the alias “Prince Pablo,” Shaban has been crushing the series so far, outlasting fields of several hundred players time and time again, nabbing five prestigious titles and over $17,000 in prize money.
Given that he only paid $740 in buy-ins, this translates to a very healthy ROI of 2200% over a few days. The series is still far from over, so Shaban will have quite a few more opportunities to improve his winning streak.
Is #6 in the stars for “Prince Pablo?” From what we have seen, it would hardly be a surprise!
