The European Poker Tour is coming back to London after an eight-year hiatus, and PokerStars seems intent on making the event one to remember. The 2022 edition of EPT London will take place October 18 – 28, and, among other things, players will have a chance to win two PSPC Platinum Passes worth $30,000 each.
One of these passes will be up for grabs in a Mystery Bounty tournament, marking the first time the operator will give a highly coveted PokerStars Platinum Pass away in this fashion.
Mystery Bounties are a new tournament format where players get to draw envelopes after eliminating players to claim their bounty. In this particular event, one envelope will contain the $30,000 Platinum Pass, so the tournament will likely generate quite a bit of interest.
Online qualifiers for EPT London and UKIPT will have another shot at a Platinum Pass via a live all-in shootout on October 22.
Of course, there will be plenty of quality tournament action over the ten days, with the £5,300 EPT Main Event and £1,100 UKIPT Main Event leading the way. The £440 UKIPT Mystery Bounty Cup is another exciting and affordable event taking place on October 20 – 21, and that one could create quite a bit of buzz.
