Nominees for the 5th Global Poker Awards Officially Announced
Names of nominees for the 5th Global Poker Awards ceremony taking place in February have been revealed in 16 distinct categories.
We have the names of the nominees for the 5th Global Poker Awards across all 16 categories as determined by the members of the voting panel.
Several prominent members of the poker community have earned themselves multiple nominations, including:
- Marle Spragg & Caitlin Comsky — Short-Form Content Creator, Best Twitter Personality, Best Video Content
- Alexander ‘Wolfgang Poker” Seibt — Short-Form Content, Fans Choice for Poker Personality, and Best Vlogger
Bin Weng will receive a well-deserved trophy for the GPI Player of the Year, while Kristen Foxen continues to prove her quality as a player, picking up the GPI Female Player of the Year Award for the fourth time.
GGPoker’s revolutionary Game of Gold show will receive the GPI Award of Merit.
There are several more interesting categories at the 5th Global Poker Awards, including Best Final Table Performance, Best Twitter Personality, Best Vlogger, Best Streamer, etc.
The Best Short-Form Content Creator Award is a completely new addition, showing how the world of poker content is changing with the times, and short-form content is becoming increasingly important due to its huge popularity with the audience.
The Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 24, and it will be streamed live on PokerGO.
