GucciNIKE Wins $548,000 PLO5 Pot and Tops CoinPoker Weekly Standings

A twice-run cooler against sammyjazzykins helped produce the week’s largest reported cash-game pot.

GucciNIKE won the biggest CoinPoker cash-game pot of the week, taking down about $548,000 in a heads-up $500/$1,000 five-card pot-limit Omaha hand against sammyjazzykins. The result helped GucciNIKE finish the week about $1.275 million ahead, the largest reported cash-game gain.

CardPlayer’s weekly round-up described the hand as a severe cooler for sammyjazzykins. When the money went in, sammyjazzykins held aces and the nut-flush draw, while GucciNIKE had middle pair, a second-nut-flush draw and a gutshot. Sammyjazzykins was a 65.45% favorite at that point.

The players agreed to run the board twice. GucciNIKE made trips on the first runout and a runner-runner full house on the second, sweeping the entire $547,671 pot.

PokerStrategy had separately put GucciNIKE’s gain over the preceding seven days at nearly $1.3 million, and said seven-figure weekly wins and losses had become regular features of CoinPoker’s high-stakes cash tables. It also identified CoinPoker’s VIP Arena as the place users can access and watch those games.

The latest result follows the roughly $850,000 GucciNIKE won from Jared “Theblez” Bleznick in a nearly 400-hand $500/$1,000 PLO session, as we reported in September. That three-table match, which used a $200 ante, helped push GucciNIKE’s winnings across that Friday’s matches beyond $1.4 million.

CoinPoker describes the VIP Arena as a premium cash-game environment offering stakes from $50/$100 to $5,000/$10,000, with Hold’em, Short Deck and four-, five- and six-card PLO among its formats. Eligible players can receive a 50% share of profits for their contribution to the games, according to the site.
