LoveToLose and Mamalega Win PokerStars on FanDuel Dynasty Main Events
The U.S. champion earned $59,422 from an 859-entry field, while Ontario’s first platform series closed with a $10,100 Main Event winner.
PokerStars on FanDuel’s September Dynasty Series has ended with screen names LoveToLose and Mamalega winning the separate $300 no-limit hold’em Main Events in the United States and Ontario. LoveToLose earned $59,422 after topping a U.S. field of 859 entries, while Mamalega collected $10,100 from Ontario’s 176-entry, province-exclusive tournament.
The U.S. Main Event carried a $350,000 guarantee and ran across Sept. 27-28. The festival’s third Main Event was a $1,500 U.S. High Roller, alongside the two $300 events.
As we reported Sept. 3, the festival was PokerStars on FanDuel’s first tournament series for Ontario players and was initially announced as a Sept. 12-28 run. The Ontario schedule listed 61 events, all no-limit hold’em, while the U.S. schedule had 100 tournaments across no-limit hold’em, PLO and PLO5.
PokerNews described the completed series as offering $3.5 million in guarantees across Ontario, New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania. That differs from the pre-series Poker.org preview, which put the $3.5 million guarantee on the U.S. schedule alone and said an Ontario-wide guarantee had not yet been announced.
The U.S. buy-ins ranged from $10 to $1,500; Ontario’s ranged from C$30 to C$1,500. A leaderboard ran throughout the series, rewarding players for consistent results.
The schedule began Sept. 9 with a $50 Nightly Dynasty event guaranteed for $25,000 and a $1,000 Storm Kickoff with a $100,000 guarantee. Other highlighted events included a $500 Storm with $100,000 guaranteed and a $100 Dynasty with a $150,000 guarantee.
The festival closed Sept. 28 with the $150 Sendoff Cooldown, which carried a $12,500 guarantee. It was among the largest series offered since PokerStars merged operations with FanDuel and began offering shared U.S. tournament liquidity across Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
