Brock Wilson won PGT Sprint Event No. 2 at PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, collecting $110,600 in the $5,300 no-limit hold’em tournament. The 79-entry event gave Wilson his fifth PokerGO Tour title of the 2026 season, moving him into second in the Player of the Year race.
Wilson earned 166 PGT points, taking his season total to 1,942. Sean Winter remained the leader with 2,223 points, a margin of nearly 300, but Wilson broke a three-way tie for the season lead in titles with Sam Soverel and Adrian Mateos, who each remained on four.
The tournament created a $395,000 prize pool and paid 12 places. Martin Zamani finished runner-up for $71,100, while Jesse Lonis took $51,350 in third, Joe McKeehen earned $37,525 for fourth and Jamie Dwan received $27,650 in fifth.
Zamani began heads-up play holding roughly a five- or six-to-one chip lead, according to the two reports. Wilson doubled twice, moved in front and won the final hand when his ace-king called Zamani’s all-in with suited ace-three. A king-high board gave Wilson the winning pair.
The win was Wilson’s 16th cash on the 2026 PGT, pushing his tour earnings for the year beyond $1.6 million. His recorded career tournament earnings rose above $15.6 million.
Wilson’s previous four PGT wins this year came in pairs at the PokerGO Cup and U.S. Poker Open, and he won the overall series title at both stops after additional deep runs. In April, he beat Nick Schulman in the $10,000 U.S. Poker Open Event No. 6 for his second victory of that series and the top spot on its leaderboard.
PGT Sprint is a seven-event schedule of single-day tournaments. The broader PGT season had awarded nearly $100 million across 102 completed events by Oct. 8, when roughly three-quarters of the calendar was complete.
