Pinklily28 Wins ACR Poker’s First Women-Only Online Championship

The $215 Ladies Online Championship drew 115 entries as Katie Lindsay and Svitlana Dryha provided commentary on the Twitch broadcast.

ACR Poker’s first women-only online tournament drew 115 entries on Oct. 4, paying 14 players from its $25,000 prize pool. Player pinklily28 won the $215 Ladies Online Championship for $5,625 and a trophy, while WinniePoohBear took $4,425 for second.

Whittycat21 earned $3,500 in third place and charterqueen received $2,625 for fourth, according to ACR Poker’s results. The one-day event was restricted to verified women, with ACR previously saying that any men found playing would forfeit winnings without a buy-in refund.

As we reported before play began, the Ladies Online Championship shared its Oct. 4 schedule with the opening flights of ACR Poker’s Dual Venom PKOs. Katie Lindsay had helped introduce the event and invited women and their poker communities to take part.

The full tournament aired on ACR’s acr_pkr Twitch channel, with Lindsay and fellow ambassador Svitlana “svetarik” Dryha providing commentary. Lindsay, Dryha and the other female ambassadors and streamers were eliminated before the money, but remained on the broadcast to discuss hands and the finalists’ play.

PokerListings described a loud finish to the stream, with the commentators screaming during the final-hand showdown. Its coverage suggested the debut’s reception could lead to another edition, potentially with more satellites and giveaways.
