GGPoker Brings Back $1 Million Flip & Go Millionaire

The $11 multi-flight event used rapid all-in Flip Stages before a combined-stack No-Limit Hold’em finale.

Key points
  1. The $11 No-Limit Hold’em tournament carried a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.
  2. Stage 1 flights began Nov. 1, with daily qualification opportunities available through Nov. 11.
  3. Flip Stage winners reached the paid Go Stage after a three-card deal, one discard and an all-in showdown.
  4. Players could accumulate stacks from multiple successful flights for the final stage.

GGPoker brought back its Flip & Go Millionaire in November, offering a $1 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em prize pool for $11 entries. The multi-flight tournament began its Stage 1 schedule on Nov. 1 and gave players daily chances to qualify for the concluding Go Stage through Nov. 11.

The format is designed to get players to the money quickly rather than requiring them to play a conventional tournament’s early levels. Pokerfuse reported the November schedule, while PokerListings detailed the underlying Flip&Go mechanics.

Each Flip Stage begins with players receiving three hole cards and discarding one. Once every player has two cards, the table goes all-in until one player remains. That table winner reaches the paid portion of the event and moves on to standard No-Limit Hold’em play in the Go Stage.

The Millionaire format also lets players build a larger stack through repeat success. Players who won more than one Flip Stage accumulated those qualifying stacks, and all chips from the Flip Stages were combined when the Go Stage began on Nov. 11.

The flights used the same fast structure and included a Flip Bonus, which increased a player’s starting stack for completing one of four specified combinations in the Flip Stage. Day 2 began with an average stack of about 400 big blinds, with blinds rising every eight minutes.

The event was positioned as a lower-cost option for players who do not have time for lengthy tournament sessions. Its winner receives a winner’s badge that remains active on the player’s account for one year.

The Flip & Go Millionaire was included in GGPoker’s wider November Giveaway, which offered promotional prizes and extra rewards across formats and buy-in levels.
