Global Poker Extends Sweeps Coin Expiration Window to 90 Days

Updated terms give inactive players an extra 30 days to log in before unused Sweeps Coins expire

Key points
  1. Unused Sweeps Coins now expire after 90 days of account inactivity, up from 60 days.
  2. The clock is tied to a player’s last login rather than when the coins were awarded.
  3. The update is contained in version 30.0 of Global Poker’s Terms and Conditions, dated Oct. 30.
  4. The 90-day policy applies across Global Poker’s eligible markets.

Global Poker has extended the inactivity window before unused Sweeps Coins expire from 60 days to 90 days. The change gives players 30 additional days to log in before an unused balance is removed.

The revised policy appears in version 30.0 of Global Poker’s Terms and Conditions, dated Oct. 30, according to Gambling911.com. The countdown is based on a player’s last login, rather than the date on which the Sweeps Coins were awarded.

For example, an account holding 100 Sweeps Coins whose player last logged in on Nov. 1 would have faced expiration around Dec. 31 under the former 60-day rule. If that account remains inactive, the 90-day rule pushes the illustrative expiration date to about Jan. 30, 2027.

The longer expiration period applies in Global Poker’s eligible markets, rather than being limited to Oklahoma. On the same day it updated the terms, Global Poker also excluded Oklahoma residents from sweepstakes participation ahead of the state’s Nov. 1 restrictions.

Global Poker is described as the largest online sweepstakes poker room. Its sister sites include Chumba and LuckyLand. Sweepstakes and social casino platforms let users play casino-style games with virtual currency, with additional real-money purchases available after free-play currency is exhausted.
