888LIVE UKPL Coventry Grand Final Offers 30-Seat Freeroll Route
UK-based players can earn a Dec. 6 freeroll ticket by completing 40 eligible online tournaments before the £100,000-guaranteed Main Event.

The 2026 888LIVE UK Poker League Grand Final will return to Coventry in December, led by a £560 Main Event carrying a £100,000 guarantee. Players can qualify for 30 of those Main Event seats through an online freeroll route that begins Nov. 8.
PokerNews reported that UK-based 888 players must complete at least 40 eligible online tournaments between Nov. 8 and Nov. 28 to earn a ticket to the Grand Final freeroll. Each qualifying tournament, including BLAST events, must have a buy-in of at least $5.
The freeroll starts at 7 p.m. GMT on Dec. 6. Its top 30 finishers will each receive a £560 Main Event seat, for a total stated value of £16,800.
The qualification target is higher than it was for Coventry’s 2025 freeroll, when players needed 35 online tournaments to earn entry. That promotion also awarded 30 Main Event seats worth £16,800 in total.
Live action begins Dec. 15 with the first of three flights in the £250 No-Limit Hold’em Opening Voyage, which has a £50,000 guarantee. Tony Phillips won the same event in 2025 for £12,350.
The £1,100 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller also carries a £50,000 guarantee. Ryan Mandara won that tournament at last year’s Coventry stop for £15,390.
The Main Event has four starting flights: one begins Dec. 17, two run Dec. 18, and the final flight is Dec. 19. Day 2 begins at noon GMT on Dec. 20 and plays until a champion is decided.
Coventry’s last UKPL Main Event, held in November 2025, drew 303 entries and produced a prize pool of about £143,900, comfortably clearing its £100,000 guarantee. Terelle Tavares won £27,518 following a three-handed ICM deal with Vitor Da Paiva, who took £23,213, and Wayne Peach, who collected £20,109.
The Grand Final will be held at Grosvenor Casino at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
