888poker LIVE London Reveals £650,000-Plus Festival Schedule at the Vic
The Oct. 8-18 card is led by a £250,000-guaranteed Main Event, with Crazy 8, Mini Main, High Roller and low-cost online satellite routes also on tap.
888poker LIVE London will run for 11 days at Grosvenor Victoria Casino, known as The Vic, from Oct. 8-18. The £1,250 Main Event carries a £250,000 guarantee, while Grosvenor Casinos lists more than £650,000 in guarantees across the full festival.
The card opens Thursday, Oct. 8 with the £500 Crazy 8 Opening Event, which has a £100,000 guarantee. It has five starting flights over its first three days, including a turbo flight Saturday, before Day 2 begins later that afternoon; a £250 Turbo Dash is also scheduled for Saturday evening.
Last year’s Crazy 8 drew 258 entries and produced a £110,300 prize pool. Stephen Bean won the title for £19,603.
The £340 Mini Main, also guaranteed for £100,000, has three starting flights from Oct. 11-13. Its surviving players combine for Day 2 on Tuesday and play to a winner Wednesday.
Other headline tournaments include the £550 Big Shot on Oct. 13 with £30,000 guaranteed, followed by the two-day £2,000 High Roller, which carries a £100,000 guarantee. The schedule also includes a £220 MND Charity Event, Pot-Limit Omaha events and the £550 Dragon, with a £50,000 guarantee.
The Big Shot was won in 2025 by 888poker ambassador Vivian Saliba, who earned £12,135 from a 105-entry field. Nuno Duarte won last year’s High Roller for £43,510 after 115 entries created a £163,870 prize pool.
The Main Event begins at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15. Day 1B starts at noon on Friday, Oct. 16, followed by an 8 p.m. turbo Day 1C. Players receive 30,000 chips; the first two flights and Day 2 use 40-minute levels, while the turbo flight uses 20-minute levels. Levels rise to 60 minutes for the final day, and a 30-second shot clock starts on Day 2.
The 2025 Main Event comfortably cleared the same £250,000 guarantee, attracting 367 entries for a £383,500 prize pool. Gang Wang defeated Calogero Morreale heads-up to win £86,600.
Players can still pursue Main Event packages through 888poker’s online satellite path, starting from $0.01 and progressing to a $109 qualifier. Each $2,500 package includes the £1,250 Main Event buy-in, £500 for accommodation and £300 for travel; direct entry to the $109 qualifier is also available. The live schedule will additionally include £140 Main Event Cashout Satellites, while Grosvenor says it has feeder satellites from £1 that award live-event credit.
The festival concludes Sunday, Oct. 18, when the Main Event champion is due to be crowned.
