Aylar Lie Exits WSOP Main Event in Quad-Fours Cooler
Renan Revinthis flopped a set, filled up on the turn and river, and sent Lie out early on Day 1c
Aylar Lie exited the 2026 WSOP Main Event on Day 1c when her ace-king ran into quad fours on the river. PokerNews called it likely the worst cooler in the event so far, and the hand ended her run before the first day of play was over.
The pot came together early, in the third blind level at 200/400, and Brazilian coverage said it happened shortly after Lie entered the tournament. Lie opened from an early position, Renan Revinthis called, and the rest of the table folded to leave them heads up.
The board ran A♠ Q♣ 4♠ A♦ 4♥. Lie checked the flop, Revinthis bet, and she called. When the A♦ arrived on the turn, Lie checked again, Revinthis kept firing, and Lie stuck around once more as the pot grew.
On the river, Lie led for about 10,500, roughly pot-sized. Revinthis moved all in, and Lie called off about 38,000 chips with aces full of kings, believing it would be good most of the time.
It was not. Revinthis tabled 4♦4♣ for quad fours after flopping a set and improving further on the river, leaving Lie drawing dead against quads when the cards were turned over.
The Main Event was still pulling a huge field around her. PokerNews reported more than 4,400 players registered by the Day 1d dinner break, with registration still open for two levels into both Day 2 flights and 10,000 entrants looking like a close call.
For Lie, though, the tournament was over on Day 1c, undone by a full house that could not beat quad fours.
