WPT Global Opens Battle of Malta Autumn Satellites

The ladder starts at $1.10 and feeds a weekly $110 qualifier that awards two $1,600 packages every Sunday.

WPT Global is already running Battle of Malta Autumn Edition satellites that start at $1.10 and funnel into a weekly $110 qualifier, giving players a low-cost route into the October festival’s €600 Main Event and its €1.5 million guarantee.

The ladder begins with $1.10 and $11 steps. Those feeders feed the Sunday $110 package event, which guarantees two $1,600 packages every week, so players can climb all the way from a tiny buy-in to a live Malta trip.

Package winners can also choose a €160 cash allowance instead of the breakfast add-on for themselves and a guest during the stay. The accommodation tied to the package runs from October 29 to November 2.

The full Autumn Edition schedule is still being pieced together, and some events have already been posted on the tour’s Instagram page. The finished lineup is expected to add 30 side events.

The Main Event itself will offer €300 and €600 flights. The €300 flights play down to 7.5% of the field before the money starts, while the €600 flights play down to 15%.

The Autumn Edition has a big recent benchmark to chase. In 2025, the event drew 6,039 buy-ins and re-entries, built a €2,728,270 prize pool, and paid 811 places. Each of the eight finalists locked up at least €28,000, and Candido Cappiello won the title after a heads-up deal for €225,770.

Coverage on the calendar has not been perfectly aligned. A separate PokerListings preview put the festival back at Casino Malta in St. Julian’s from October 28 to November 5, and said there would be more than €2 million in guarantees over the nine-day run, including a €1.5 million Main Event guarantee.
