ACR Poker Adds $10.16 Million Venom Specials Slate
The 91-event side schedule runs across seven dates and peaks with a $750,000 guarantee on Aug. 31.
ACR Poker has added 91 Venom Specials across seven session dates from Aug. 17 through Aug. 31, building a $10.16 million side schedule around its August Dual Venom stretch. The extra events sit alongside the headline Venom action, and players can enter them without taking part in the $15 million Dual Venoms.
As reported in July, ACR Poker was already saying more than 85% of the 1,500 guaranteed Venom Fever seats were still open as the Dual Venoms approached. The new Venom Specials slate gives players another way to stay in the August mix without needing a Dual Venom entry.
According to ACR Poker’s news post and schedule page, the side events are split into two waves. The first wave lands on Aug. 17, 20 and 23, and totals $3.575 million in guarantees. Aug. 17 opens with 15 tournaments and $915,000 guaranteed, Aug. 20 offers 11 events and $820,000, and Aug. 23 climbs to 12 tournaments and $1.84 million.
The second wave is larger, with Aug. 24, 27, 30 and 31 combining for $6.585 million. Aug. 24 has 11 tournaments and $805,000 in guarantees, while Aug. 27 matches the event count but raises the daily total to $995,000.
The biggest activity comes at the end of the month. Aug. 30 brings 13 Venom Specials and $2.34 million in guarantees, including $600,000, $500,000 and $250,000 events. Aug. 31 closes the series with 18 tournaments and $2.445 million, led by a $750,000 special, plus a $500,000 tournament and a $200,000 progressive knockout.
The schedule spans regular no-limit hold’em, progressive knockouts, 6-max events, mystery bounty tournaments and Omaha variants. Individual guarantees run from $15,000 up to $750,000, and ACR Poker says players can review the full tournament schedule and map out which dates to prioritize before the lobby gets busy.
