ACR Poker Stacks More Than $20 Million Into Aug. 16 Sunday

Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms, Run Up Main Events and the full tournament slate all land on the same card.

ACR Poker is loading more than $20 million in guaranteed prize money into Super Stacked Sunday on Aug. 16. The card centers on Day 1B of the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms, three Run Up Series Main Events, and the return of the site’s full Sunday tournament slate.

According to ACR Poker, the slimmed-down summer schedule is officially over. WebWire said the day is built around several overlapping reasons to play, with majors and supporting events spread across no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, mystery bounty, progressive knockout, multi-flight, and high-stakes formats.

The biggest draw is the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms. The No-Limit Hold’em edition carries a $12 million guarantee and the Pot-Limit Omaha edition adds $3 million, for $15 million combined, and both have $2,650 buy-ins and eight Day 1 flights throughout August. Day 1B starts at 12:05 p.m. ET on Aug. 16.

The NLH Venom carries a $500,000 top Mystery Bounty, while the PLO version tops out at $250,000. Minimum bounties are $5,000 once the Mystery Bounty phase begins on Day 2, and players who reach that stage are already in the money. ACR also says Day 1B is projected to be the biggest Venom day the site has ever hosted.

Venom Fever adds another route in, with more than 1,500 seats guaranteed through Direct Satellites, Mega Satellites, Beast tournaments, Survivor Flips and other paths that start from $0. Separately, ACR reopened its Venom Vault on Aug. 3, and Golden Ticket seats from that promotion are issued for Day 1B of either Venom.

The Run Up Series adds another layer to the day. Card Player reported that the five-week series launched on July 12 and runs through Aug. 17, with 163 tournaments and more than $10 million in guarantees.

ACR says Super Stacked Sunday is the biggest day of the Run Up schedule. Three Main Events start at 11:05 a.m. ET, with the $1,050 High Main Event offering $750,000 guaranteed, the $215 Mid Main Event $400,000, and the $33 Low Main Event $200,000.

All three Main Events are set to resume on Monday, Aug. 17, and ACR says there is $1.35 million guaranteed across the trio after they move to Day 2. The rest of the Sunday card includes a $1 million guaranteed Mystery Bounty Multi-Flight with a $100,000 top bounty, Day 2 of the $50,000 Guaranteed Dime Progressive Knockout at 4:05 p.m. ET, and a $200,000 Guaranteed High Roller.
