Americas Cardroom’s Run Up Mystery Bounty Reaches 1,220 Entries
The $66 headliner still has more than 200 Day 1 flights left, and its Day 2 mystery-bounty stage includes a $100,000 top prize.
Americas Cardroom said its $66 Run Up Series Mystery Bounty Multi-Flight has reached 1,220 entries, while more than 200 Day 1 flights are still on the schedule before Day 2 on Aug. 17. The event carries a $1 million guaranteed prize pool, and the mystery-bounty phase starts once play moves to Day 2, when one knockout will reveal a $100,000 top prize.
According to the company’s press release, the $66 event is the multi-flight headliner of the five-week Run Up Series. The series runs through Aug. 17 and features more than $10 million in guarantees across 163 tournaments.
Players who advance from a Day 1 flight will compete for a share of the seven-figure prize pool. The remaining Day 1 schedule gives players repeated chances to qualify, with flights continuing until the series closes.
The Run Up Series wraps up with three Main Events on the final weekend. Those include a $1,050 event with a $750,000 guarantee, a $215 event with a $400,000 guarantee, and a $33 event with $200,000 on the line, with Day 1 set for Aug. 16 and Day 2 on Aug. 17.
Americas Cardroom is also running a $100,000 leaderboard contest funded entirely by the company. Prizes are split between High and Low divisions, and the top 25 finishers in each division will receive cash, tournament tickets, and seats to the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms.
Those Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms begin on Aug. 13 with $15 million in combined guarantees, the largest total in Venom history. The schedule includes a $12 million No-Limit Hold’em event and a $3 million Pot-Limit Omaha event, both with $2,650 buy-ins and eight Day 1 flights, while the top bounty in the NLH event is $500,000 and the PLO top bounty is $250,000.
Venom Fever offers 1,500 seats with qualification routes starting from $0. A separate $2.5 million guaranteed 25th Anniversary Tournament is also underway, with a $250 buy-in, 21 Day 1 flights, and a cumulative stack format.
