BetRivers Poker’s Multi-State Summer Series Wraps Up Today

The four-state festival closes with 96 events, more than $450,000 in guarantees and a $35,000 Main Event

BetRivers Poker’s Multi-State Summer Series is wrapping up today after a two-week run that packed in a lot of volume for a compact schedule. The festival featured 96 championship events, more than $450,000 in guaranteed prizes, and buy-ins that ran from as low as $3 in the Silver bracket to $200 in Gold.

As covered in late July, the series ran from Aug. 2 to 16 and was open to registered BetRivers players in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia. The schedule also mixed in up to eight events a day, with deepstack, turbo, hyper turbo, six-max, PKO and PLO formats, plus daily satellites for players trying to qualify into the main lineup.

BetRivers also layered on extra ways to chase tickets. Its Road to MSS promotion awarded 600 tournament tickets worth $10,000 through regular MTTs, weekly draws and login-based entries, while the series leaderboards put another $10,000 in tickets up for grabs. Every champion is also set to receive a unique trophy sent to their address, so 96 players will leave August with more than just a scoreline.

In the Aug. 7 update, 38 of the 96 events had been completed, Event #1 had drawn 187 players and paid $17,297 against a $12.5k guarantee, and Event #2 paid $24,310 against an $18k guarantee.

In that same snapshot, johnynewaza_380300 led the Gold leaderboard with 136.04 points, less than a point ahead of SlotsVIP and about 12 points clear of moontime. ValueMaster led Silver with 113.88 points, with Liebro the only other player above 100 and Chip Gaines in third on 95.57.

Today’s final card is headed by the $200 Main Event with a $35,000 guarantee, alongside a $20 version that carries a $6,000 guarantee.
