The Southern Poker/GCP Tour Louisiana State Poker Championship runs Aug. 19-30 at Horseshoe Bossier City. The Southern Poker events page lists the stop at Horseshoe Bossier City, and the schedule also includes a ladies event on Aug. 20 and a seniors event on Aug. 25.
The first event is the CLIP 75K Milestone Satellite at 2 pm on Aug. 19, with a $320 buy-in, according to 710 KEEL. Southern Poker describes that satellite as a chance to win a seat into several larger events, including the Multi-Bag, Humpday, BeauCoup and Main Event.
The GCP Tour schedule page says the tour offers real-time updates from the floor, including big hands, player highlights and breaking news. It also says completed events are followed with final standings, payouts, final-table photos and recaps, and that players can earn tour points at every stop to move up the standings.
The Bossier City series also fits into a broader 2026 Southern Poker calendar at the same venue. The events page lists other Southern Poker runs at Horseshoe Bossier City earlier this year, including Feb. 26-March 8 and June 16-21, showing the casino has already hosted multiple tour stops in 2026.
