Jean Laurent Leads SHRPO Leaderboard After 17 Events
Mikhail Chykiliov is second and Raminder Singh third as $36,000 in cash and prizes remains in play.
Jean Laurent led the SHRPO Tournament Leaderboard after 17 tournaments, not counting Event 2, as the $36,000 in cash and prizes started to sort itself out. Mikhail Chykiliov was second and Raminder Singh was third.
The official SHRPO board update said Laurent was on top because of two SHRPO wins and two cashes. On Aug. 1, he won Event 17, a $600 Deep Stack Mixed PLO that drew 111 entries and built a $57,498 prize pool.
That Event 17 result came through a heads-up chop. Laurent was the slight chip leader at the time, took the official win, and collected $13,937. The victory was his second of the series and his fourth major-series trophy win in 2026.
Chykiliov’s runner-up spot was built on deep runs that included a win of the $800 Progressive Bounty. Singh sat third with two wins, and because he was still in Event 2, he could still add more points.
The leaderboard page says the top 100 spots are shown. Players can score points in 59 trophy events, while the three Seniors events and the 40/40/40 tournament do not count.
The same page says players must be at least 18 and Unity cardholders, and there is no limit to how many events or entries they can play. Points are based on field size and whether a player cashes, with non-cashes earning 1 point per entry and cashes earning “Cash Points.”
The prize structure includes two $10,400 WPT Championship seats in the $36,000 leaderboard pool. The top two finishers win a $12,000 WPT Las Vegas package that includes the seat and $1,600 cash, while third through fifth each get a $3,500 entry into the 2026 Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Championship plus $500 cash. Final leaderboard standings are due on Aug. 11, with results posted on or before Aug. 12 and prizes redeemable through Aug. 15.
