ACR Poker’s Anniversary Tournament Enters Its Final 13 Day 1 Flights
Twelve Turbo flights and Sunday’s Main flight remain before the $2.5 million event combines its qualifiers for Day 2.
ACR Poker said in a Sept. 24 update that its $2.5 million guaranteed 25th Anniversary Tournament had 13 Day 1 flights left, leaving players a final run of qualification opportunities before Day 2 on Monday, Sept. 28. The $250 event’s final table is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Twelve of the 13 remaining flights were Turbo tournaments. The lone Main flight is set for Sunday, Sept. 27, at 1:05 p.m. ET, with Turbo flights that day at 10:15 a.m. and 7:05 p.m. ET. The last Day 1 is an 8:05 a.m. ET Turbo on Sept. 28, after which the surviving field moves into Day 2.
As reported Sept. 2, the tournament’s late-September Day 2 and final-table dates had already been set. The remaining slate listed three Turbo starts each on Thursday and Friday at 12:05 p.m., 3:05 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. ET, followed by Saturday Turbos at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET.
The event uses a cumulative-stack format. Players who survive a Day 1 can enter again, and every stack they carry through is combined for Day 2 rather than replacing an earlier qualifying stack.
ACR Poker had expanded the tournament to 41 Day 1 flights, up from the 21 announced in July, while keeping the $2.5 million guarantee intact. The full schedule runs from July 18 through Sept. 29.
Players can buy in directly for $250 or use $33 satellites, with $3.15 Super Satellites feeding those qualifiers. A separate satellite route advertised by ACR starts at $1.05 for Saturday Turbo entries.
The tournament is part of ACR Poker’s celebration of 25 years since it began dealing cards in 2001.
