Khoa Anh Ngo Lands First Seven-Figure Triton Score
The Triton ONE standout beat Anatoly Filatov in Jeju’s $25K Titi Poker for $1.09 million and his first series trophy.
Khoa Anh Ngo turned a strong run in Jeju into a seven-figure score, winning the $25,000 NLH Titi Poker at Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II for $1,090,000. The result gave him his first Triton trophy and his first seven-figure payout, and he outlasted 210 entries to do it, according to PokerNews.
As covered in our Day 2 update, Ngo was already second in chips behind Danilo Velasevic when 52 players returned, with the field playing toward 34 paid spots and a $1.09 million top prize. By the time the event reached its final day, six players were left and David Coleman was in front.
The bubble broke on Wang Jun, and the knockout wave that followed cleared out a long list of big names, including Phil Ivey, Klemens Roiter and Ben Tollerene. That left the final table loaded, with Ngo, Coleman, Isaac Haxton, Aren Bezhanyan, Anatoly Filatov and Joe Hindry all still alive.
Ngo’s push started in the first major pot of the day, when he picked up aces against Coleman’s king-jack and doubled through the start-of-day leader. Hindry then went out sixth for $250,000, Coleman followed in fifth for $330,000, and Bezhanyan’s run ended in fourth for $417,000 after losing ground in a key all-in.
Haxton took third for $515,000, and heads-up did not last long. The duel ended in eight hands, with Ngo starting about a 5:4 chip edge over Filatov and finishing the job when his 8♣5♠ made two pair on the turn against Filatov’s Q♣8♠. Filatov collected $733,000 for second.
The win also fit into Ngo’s broader rise. Card Player reported that it lifted his lifetime earnings to nearly $3.8 million, added 1,260 Player of the Year points and moved him to 19th in the 2026 standings. It was his third title and ninth final-table finish of the year, and those runs alone had already accounted for more than $2.4 million in earnings.
Triton’s site tied the result back to Ngo’s Triton ONE success, saying he had become the first player to win two Triton ONE events, one in September 2025 and another in March of this year. Ngo said that winning those titles gave him the confidence to take a shot at the Super High Roller Series.
