Myles Mullaly won the $10,500 no-limit hold’em opener of the 2026 Poker Masters, taking $218,400 and his first PokerGO Tour title. The New York poker professional beat Justin Zaki heads-up in a 78-entry event that created a $780,000 prize pool.
The win gave Mullaly 218 PGT points and the early lead in the Poker Masters Purple Jacket race. Twelve players made the money, while six returned for Day 2 after Adrian Mateos’ pocket aces were cracked by Craig Mason’s pocket nines on the money bubble.
Mullaly started the final day second in chips behind Michael Rossitto. Justin Vaysman exited sixth for $39,000, followed by Daniyal Gheba in fifth for $54,600. Rossitto finished fourth for $74,100 after shoving jack-ten into Sam Laskowitz’s ace-queen.
Laskowitz took third and $101,400 when he called Zaki’s small-blind shove with ace-king against queen-seven, only for a seven to land on the flop. Zaki then entered heads-up play with Mullaly, who held roughly a 2-to-1 chip lead. Laskowitz’s result followed a recent $270,000 Super High Roller Series win at the PokerGO Studio.
Heads-up lasted more than an hour, with Zaki briefly taking the lead. On the deciding hand, Mullaly bet 400,000 on the flop and 1.2 million on the turn before calling Zaki’s 3.4 million all-in. Mullaly’s ten-nine improved to a pair of tens on the river against Zaki’s jack-three, ending the tournament.
Mullaly said many things went his way and that he was pleased to complete the win. The title came after several close calls for him earlier this year at the US Poker Open.
The 10-event Poker Masters is running at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas through Oct. 23. Buy-ins range from $10,500 to $51,000, and the overall series winner receives the Purple Jacket and a $25,000 PGT Passport.
