A full-house cooler settled the $10,500 event, while Palma’s second final table in four tournaments moved him past Myles Mullaly.

Key points
  1. Zavorotnijs earned $224,000 and 224 PGT points after beating Clemen Deng heads-up.
  2. The 80-entry tournament created an $800,000 prize pool and paid 12 places.
  3. Palma finished third for $104,000, earning 104 points to move into first in the Purple Jacket race.
  4. Six events remain in the 10-tournament Poker Masters series, which concludes Oct. 23.

Vitalijs Zavorotnijs won Event #4 of the 2026 Poker Masters in Las Vegas, defeating Clemen Deng heads-up in the $10,500 no-limit hold’em tournament. The Latvian collected $224,000 and 224 PGT points for his second PokerGO Tour title.

The 80-entry event generated an $800,000 prize pool and paid the top 12 finishers. Zavorotnijs began the five-handed final day as chip leader, but Deng held the advantage when their heads-up match began.

The decisive hand was a full-house cooler. Both players flopped two pair on a queen-jack-four board, with Zavorotnijs holding queen-four and Deng jack-four. A four on the turn gave each player a full house, but Zavorotnijs had the higher one and called Deng’s river all-in to end the tournament.

Deng earned $144,000 as runner-up. Nick Palma took third for $104,000, followed by Jamie Dwan, who won $76,000, and Andrew Lichtenberger, who received $56,000.

Palma’s third-place finish added 104 PGT points, taking him to 339 series points and $339,200 in winnings. That moved him past Myles Mullaly into first place in the race for the Poker Masters Purple Jacket, while Zavorotnijs rose to fourth with his first cash of the series.

Palma had already won Event #2 for $235,200 and his first PGT title, as we reported earlier this week. His second final table in four events now gives him the early lead with six tournaments remaining.

The 10-event Poker Masters runs at PokerGO Studio through Oct. 23, with buy-ins ranging from $10,500 to $51,000. The series champion receives the Purple Jacket and a $25,000 PGT Passport.
