CoinPoker and PokerGO Launch $100,000 High Stakes Poker Giveaway
Weekly CoinPoker leaderboards feed an Oct. 31 draw for a prize package with travel cash, Strip lodging and broadcast access
CoinPoker and PokerGO have launched a promotion that puts one player in line for a $100,000 High Stakes Poker seat in Las Vegas. The winner’s package also includes $10,000 for travel and spending money, a Las Vegas Strip hotel stay, a warm-up game, private coaching and access to the PokerGO broadcast experience.
As reported last week, CoinPoker had already been named presenting sponsor of PokerGO’s seven-day High Stakes Poker run. The new giveaway sits alongside that live stretch, which PokerGO has been airing from Aug. 25 to 31.
Entry is free, and players sign up with the code POKERGO. Weekly leaderboard periods run from Sept. 6 through Oct. 25, and qualification is based on CoinPoker cash-game and tournament activity. Freeroll entries can also unlock during the qualification window. The top finisher from each weekly leaderboard advances to an Oct. 31 final draw, where eight players will be in the mix for one grand-prize winner.
CoinPoker says the winner could end up sharing a table with Kevin Hart, Phil Hellmuth and Tom Dwan. Sportscasting described the prize as a fully covered High Stakes Poker package valued at more than $100,000, while another report noted that the leaderboard window overlaps with CoinPoker’s Global Online Poker Championship, the $50 million guaranteed series that runs through Sept. 28 and includes more than 700 events.
