ACR Poker Says More Than 85% of Venom Fever Seats Remain Open
The weekend slate guarantees 60 seats as the campaign builds toward the Aug. 13 Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms.
ACR Poker says more than 85% of the 1,500 guaranteed Venom Fever seats are still open as the site moves toward its $15 million Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms. The qualification campaign runs through Aug. 30, while the target events begin Aug. 13.
According to ACR Poker’s promo page, the Dual Venoms are part of the site’s 25th Anniversary celebration. The pair includes two $2,650 buy-in tournaments, a $12 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty Venom and a $3 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty Venom.
Each knockout in those events unlocks a Mystery Bounty worth at least $5,000. The NLH event carries a $500,000 top bounty, while the PLO event’s top bounty is $250,000.
This weekend’s qualifying slate guarantees 60 seats across four events. A $55 Mega Satellite runs Saturday, July 25 at 1:30pm ET and awards five seats, while Sunday, July 26 at 1:30pm ET brings a $290 Mega Satellite for at least 20 seats and a $109 Mega Satellite for 10 more.
A $95 Beast Tournament follows on Sunday at 5:05pm ET and guarantees 25 seats. Players can enter that event directly or qualify through the Beast and Sit & Crush weekly leaderboards.
An earlier ACR Poker news post said Venom Fever officially began July 13 when Venom Madness satellites got underway. Lower-cost routes remain in place through $16.50 Venom Madness multi-flight satellites, where the top 15% from each Day 1 flight move on to Sunday’s 4:05pm ET Day 2 and each weekly final guarantees 10 seats. Survivor Flips start at $0.80 and Spin to Get In starts at $0.01, and the schedule expands again on Aug. 3 with $109 and $290 Direct Satellites.
