Danilo Velasevic Leads Triton Jeju II $25K Titi Poker Into Day 4

Fifty-two players remain from 210 entries, with $1.09 million up top and 34 paid spots.

Danilo Velasevic took the lead as Triton Jeju II’s $25,000 NLH Titi Poker moved into Day 4, with 52 players still alive from a 210-entry field and $1,090,000 waiting for the winner.

As covered in our Jeju preview, Triton is back at Les A Casino in South Korea for another stop in the series. The festival runs from Sept. 4 to Sept. 17 at the Jeju venue.

According to PokerNews, Velasevic had 2,760,000 chips. Khoa Anh Ngo sat second on 2,595,000, and Joe Hindry was close behind on 2,410,000.

The payout picture is getting tighter as the field plays toward the money. The top 34 spots are set to cash, so 18 more eliminations are needed before the first paid finish is reached.

Phil Ivey, Ben Tollerene, Adrian Mateos, Isaac Haxton and Wai Kiat Lee were among the names still chasing the title. That gives the late stages a heavyweight feel even before the event reaches its final table.
