ACR Poker Adds Direct Satellites and Venom Vault for Dual Venoms
The new routes arrive as Venom Fever counts down to the Aug. 13 start of the $15 million combined Mystery Bounty events.
ACR Poker added Direct Satellites and the Venom Vault as fresh ways into Venom Fever, giving players more routes to the upcoming Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms. The main events begin Thursday, Aug. 13, and the broader promotion runs through Sunday, Aug. 30.
The Direct Satellites have $109 and $290 buy-ins. They are built to feed $2,650 seats, and the site says they create multiple chances to win one before Venom Fever ends.
Venom Vault opened on Aug. 3, and every eligible player gets one free Vault Key. Players go to My Account in the poker client, open the Vault, and pick a door, with every key guaranteeing a reward.
Rewards include Venom Survivor Flip Step tickets worth $0.80 to $350 and, at the top end, a $2,650 Venom seat. Extra keys can be bought for $2.99, redeemed for 300 Combat Points, or earned through special challenges.
If a player lands the seat, it is first issued for Day 1B on Sunday, Aug. 16. If it is not used there, it can be applied to any remaining Day 1 flight.
The Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms carry $15 million in combined guarantees. The No-Limit Hold’em event has a $12 million guarantee and a $500,000 top mystery bounty, while the Pot-Limit Omaha event has a $3 million guarantee and a $250,000 top mystery bounty. Once Day 2 starts, every knockout is worth at least $5,000, and players are already in the money.
A separate Newsfile report carried by The Globe and Mail said 45 players had already secured $2,650 entries through the Venom Vault promotion, which had also produced more than 71,000 completed challenges, more than 98,000 Step 1 Survivor Flip tickets and more than 10,000 Step 2 tickets.
The rest of Venom Fever is still running too. Weekly $16.50 Venom Madness multi-flight satellites continue, with Day 1 flights running through the week, the top 15% of each field advancing to Day 2 every Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET, and each weekly final guaranteeing 10 seats. The $95 Beast Tournament begins Sunday at 5:05 p.m. ET and awards 25 Venom seats, and players can enter directly or with free tickets from the weekly Beast and Sit & Crush leaderboards. Weekend Mega Satellites, Survivor Flips starting at $0.80, and Spin to Get In games starting at $0.01 are also still available.
