PartyPoker Tour Glasgow Returns Aug. 3-9 With £100,000 Main Event Guarantee
Alea Casino Glasgow will host the sixth leg of the 2026 tour, opening with a £150 Mini Main and a busy slate of mixed games and satellites.
PartyPoker Tour Glasgow is set for Aug. 3-9 at Alea Casino Glasgow on the bank of the River Clyde. The stop is the sixth leg of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour and is headlined by a £500 Main Event with a £100,000 guarantee.
According to PokerNews, the festival opens on the afternoon of Aug. 3 with a £150 No-Limit Hold'em Mini Main Event, which is the first of four flights. The Main Event itself uses four £500 Day 1s, with £455 from each entry going into the prize pool and £45 taken as fees, and there are no further deductions from the prize pool.
The rest of the schedule is packed with lower buy-in and specialty events. Side events include a £200 bounty tournament, a £100 turbo, a £60 Red River Bounty, and a £1,000 High Roller, along with mixed-game offerings such as a £60 Pot-Limit H.O.R.S.E. event, a £100 NLHE/PLO mixed event, a £150 PLO 4/5/6 Card event, a £60 Crazy Pineapple Bounty, a £250 PLO Masters event and a £60 Tennessee Hold'em Glasgow Championship.
Alea Casino's poker lounge also offers daily cash games and tournaments in a dedicated poker area, and venue information lists the casino open from 12pm to 6am every day.
The Glasgow return comes with some recent history behind it. Last year's stop drew 256 entrants, built a £111,821 prize pool and paid the top 39 finishers, with Zhen Zhen beating Kyle Scott heads-up for £22,500 and Scott collecting £14,270.
The High Roller also has a defending champion to beat. Tianyi Jiang is the reigning winner after outlasting 33 opponents for £10,900 last year, while online satellites for this stop are available from £0.20 and live satellites cost £60 or £115 throughout the festival.
