Triton Poker Releases Schedule for its First Stop in March

The world’s biggest high stakes tournament series will return to Jeju, South Korea for the first stop of the very popular Triton Poker Super High Roller Series.

From March 2 to 9, six high stakes events will be held at the Landing Casino, three of them will feature Short Deck ante-only events including a new Short Deck Bounty event.

The series is known to attract some wealthy amateur poker players as well some of the world’s best players including the likes of Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Triton Poker ambassador Jason Koon, Fedor Holz, Paul Phua and many more.

The 2019 tour will be featuring four more stops scheduled to run in May, July, September, and November. It promises to provide “more action”, “more stops than ever before” and is also set to host the biggest buy-in in poker history.

Last week, Jason Koon Becomes Triton Poker Ambassador: Jason Koon was announced as a brand ambassador for Triton Poker}. Jason will be playing an active role in promoting the Triton Poker brand across each of the five tour stops starting with Jeju in March.

Since its inception in 2015, the Triton Poker Series has held 9 events and the stop in Jeju will be the organizers 10th.

Last year, Triton introduced ante-only Short Deck tournaments. Phil Ivey, one of the two biggest advocates of the Short Deck format took down the Triton SHR event in Montenegro for over $617,000.

The 2018 tour also featured some of the world’s biggest televised pots in the history of poker both at NLHE and Short Deck events.
