Graton’s RGPS Bay Area Main Event Keeps $300,000 Guarantee at $800

The Nov. 12-22 stop brings 18 ring events, a $200,000 PowerStack Mystery Bounty and satellites into the reduced-buy-in Main Event.

Key points
  1. RGPS Bay Area runs at Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park from Nov. 12-22 with 18 ring events and more than $500,000 guaranteed.
  2. The $800 Main Event retains a $300,000 guarantee despite its buy-in falling from $1,100.
  3. A $400 PokerNews PowerStack Mystery Bounty carries a $200,000 guarantee and five starting flights.
  4. The stop awards points in the 2026/27 RunGood Player of the Year race and PokerNews PowerStack Leaderboard.

RunGood Poker Series will return to Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park, California, for the RGPS Bay Area stop from Nov. 12-22. The 11-day festival has 18 ring events and more than $500,000 in guaranteed prize pools.

The headline change is an $800 Main Event buy-in, down from $1,100, while the guarantee remains $300,000. The tournament begins Friday, Nov. 20, with four starting flights across Friday and Saturday before a Sunday finale. PokerNews will provide live coverage including chip counts, major hands, eliminations and updates from the tournament floor.

As we reported in August, Graton was set to host the RGPS NorCal Poker Championships from Aug. 20-30.

The $400 PokerNews PowerStack Mystery Bounty is the other major guaranteed event, with a $200,000 guarantee. It has five starting flights from Nov. 12-14, with surviving players returning on Sunday, Nov. 15, to play for the title and mystery-bounty prizes.

The early schedule also includes a $300 Series Opener on Nov. 12 and a $400 Big Bounty on Nov. 15. Other highlights are the $300 Graton Harvest Classic, $400 Monster Stack, $400 Seniors 50+ event and Tag Team PLO/NLH tournament, alongside lower-buy-in turbo events.

Mixed-game players have several formats on the calendar: Limit Omaha 8, Mixed PLO, Pot-Limit Omaha and Double Board Bomb Pot PLO. Players looking to qualify for the Main Event can enter $200 satellites, which award one $800 Main Event seat for every five entries.

The Bay Area festival is part of RGPS’s Golden Expedition fall season. Players can compete in both the 2026/27 RunGood Player of the Year race and the PokerNews PowerStack Leaderboard, whose top 10 finishers each receive a Thunder Valley package and entry to the $300 Dream Seat Invitational.

Golden Expedition is RGPS’s tournament season across North America and the Caribbean, built around championship-ring events. The season concludes with the Dream Factory Festival at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California, from Nov. 27 through Dec. 3, including two invitationals for 2026 RunGood ring winners.
