CoinPoker Cash Game Hits $1.1 Million Pot

BTCDemon ran $80,000 up to about $1.5 million in the VIP Arena as the action landed during GOPC week.

CoinPoker’s VIP Arena produced a $1.1 million cash-game pot on $1,000/$2,000 tables. BTCDemon turned an $80,000 start into roughly $1.5 million in the session and won the biggest hand against Chris “Lukabrate” Nguyen, who got the money in preflop with pocket kings while BTCDemon held A-Q before the board ran out to trip queens by the river.

PokerStrategy described the hand as a $1.1 million pot, or 555 big blinds, and put the spot at 27.84% equity. The same report said Owen “PR0DIGY” Messere was part of the action and called BTCDemon a newcomer to those $1,000/$2,000 tables. Spadepoker also said the lineup included Barak “iWasOnly17” Wisbrod, Hazeslip, Trance and Firefox, and that the table felt like real high-stakes action rather than random lobby traffic.

As covered earlier in August, CoinPoker had already been broadening its fixed-schedule online lineup with events like CoinMillion and the Daily Dollar. The hot hand also arrived while the Global Online Poker Championship was running on the site. CoinPoker’s VIP Arena itself went live on June 15 and is pitched as a place for elite cash games, with stakes from $50/$100 up to $5,000/$10,000, a 50% profit-share model for eligible players, 24/7 support and security monitoring, and access that can also be earned through Battle Tables.

The run also brought Jared Bleznick back into CoinPoker cash games, where Spadepoker said he was battling PencilArms across Pot-Limit Omaha tables at $500/$1,000 and $200/$400. Those reports said CoinPoker pointed out the current run lands almost exactly a year after Bleznick built about $1.5 million on the site.
