Latvia’s Ralfs Blumbergs won the €10,250 Pot-Limit Omaha Unlimited Re-Entry event at EPT Barcelona, outlasting a 122-entry field at Casino Barcelona. The victory was worth €303,300.
PokerNews reported the result from Casino Barcelona, where the event was part of the 2026 PokerStars European Poker Tour stop in Barcelona. The original report also noted that the €5,300 Main Event was only a couple of days away from being crowned when Blumbergs sealed this title.
The official Casino Barcelona schedule listed the tournament as event #49, with the venue at Marina, 19-21 in Port Olímpic, Barcelona. Its online registration limit was shown as 15 August at 23:00.
Seventeen players cashed in the tournament. Filip Lovric went out in eighth place, which set the official final table, and Imad Derwiche was the first finalist to bust for €48,500. That result nudged his lifetime winnings close to $5.2 million.
Rasmus Larsen, Biao Ding and Tommi Lankinen were eliminated before Vito Recchimurzo went out and left Blumbergs and Markus Ristola heads-up. Blumbergs finished the match to take the title, while Ristola collected €189,400 for second place.
