BigFish20 Wins 888poker XL Autumn Mystery Mini Main for $4,596
Cheks88 took the event’s biggest overall payday after finding its $5,000 mystery-bounty jackpot in 13th place.
888poker regular BigFish20 won the $25 Mystery Mini Main in the XL Autumn Series on Sept. 28, earning $4,596 from a 2,272-entry field. The turnout cleared the tournament’s $50,000 guarantee by $1,120, after needing just over 2,220 entries to avoid an overlay.
The win followed an earlier big mystery-bounty score for BigFish20, who pulled a $50,000 bounty in the XL Spring Series Mystery Main Event. As we reported Sept. 1, the XL Autumn Series was built around mystery bounty events, with 26 of its 41 tournaments using the format.
PokerNews reported that Ukraine’s Cheks88 actually collected the largest total prize in the Mini Main despite finishing 13th. Cheks88 banked $5,213, including $5,009 in mystery bounties after finding the tournament’s $5,000 jackpot bounty.
Argentina’s Scopetovich finished runner-up for $3,191 after Ukraine’s kafe11071107 exited in third for $3,144. The eight-handed final table also included Finland’s Bananabluff in fourth and two Argentinians, Scopetovich and sixth-place finisher Heroblanco.
The Mini Main had a $25 buy-in. Last year’s edition drew 4,413 players, nearly twice this year’s field, and brocanuts won $6,077.
The 2026 XL Autumn Series began Sept. 20 and was scheduled to conclude Sept. 29, with more than $900,000 in guarantees across its 41 numbered events.
