Chance Kornuth Final-Tables Both ACR Venoms

Chris Moorman also reached the NLH final table as Deltoid88 and ImWinninAnyway won the two Mystery Bounty events

Chance Kornuth reached the final table in both of ACR Poker’s Mystery Bounty Venoms as the site’s $15 million festival wrapped up. The two championships carried $12 million in guarantees for no-limit hold’em and $3 million for pot-limit Omaha, with each event set at a $2,650 buy-in.

As reported last month, ACR Poker had added back-to-back closing flights for players chasing Day 2 seats. That setup left Kornuth alive in both events at the same time, and Chris Moorman also made the NLH final table.

The NLH side drew 4,792 entries and did not beat its $12 million guarantee, according to Poker.org. Moorman was the first player out of the final table, cashing for $71,171 including $5,000 in bounties, and Kornuth finished seventh for $131,395.

Card Player reported Deltoid88 as the NLH winner after a heads-up win over Ivan 'chickenpastry’ Limeira, good for $865,868. SpadePoker said the title match ended with an ICM deal after one hand.

The PLO event drew 1,238 entries and finished at a $3,095,000 prize pool, just over its $3 million guarantee. Kornuth took sixth for $57,339, while ImWinninAnyway beat turov1 heads-up for $365,192, including more than $75,000 from bounty payouts. Poker.org also noted that Kornuth had previously made a PLO Venom final table in April and finished runner-up.
