Not All Free Spins Offers Are Created Equal

If you’re looking to pass the time with a little online slots action, you are probably looking to entertain yourself without draining your bank account. And, if you could pad it a little, that would be a great result!

One way to possibly achieve both of these goals is by taking advantage of the promotional offers known as “free spins.” For new players, many online casinos offer a chance to get a taste of the games they offer at a low price, hence the word “free!”

Free spins provide players with the chance of winning money without having to put up any of their hard-earned cash.

But being an educated consumer is a great way to help ensure you do not break the bank while queueing up at the grocery store. Even though some offers look to be free on their face, there could be important restrictions that you should be aware of before you accept the offer. Do your homework. There are plenty of sites that provide reviews about free spins on new UK casino sites.

Some of the best kinds of free spins are the one that you get without having to make a deposit of real money. That’s right, even though you are getting some free spins, some online casinos will require that you make a real money deposit before they give you those free chances to win. On top of that, there could also be wagering requirements that stipulate that you must put a certain amount of your own money at risk before you are awarded the free spins, or in some cases, before you can withdraw your winnings.

But don’t let that discourage you, as the number of online casinos grows, more and more of them are removing deposit and wagering requirements and offering truly free spins with no deposit required.

Still, you need to read the fine print because some online casinos will put a limit on how much you could win from free spins. How heart-wrenching would it be to hit a big jackpot on a free spin only to find out after that you were limited to winning €25? So you need to check out all the details before you play!

While that covers the free spins that are used to attract new players to a new online casino, game manufactures are also designing free spins into some of their games as a way of making their games more attractive than those offered by the competition.

These “in-game” free spins can be hugely profitable and add to the overall excitement of the game. To get these types of free spins, players will need to reach certain conditions while playing the game such as hitting a certain number of special symbols, commonly referred to as scatter symbols. These symbols usually have highly attractive designs, special animations and cool sounds. In some cases, you also need to get them in a very specific order, in order to unlock the largest amount of free spins.

So there you have it. Hopefully this strategic information will help you identify the most generous free spins offers and prevent you from being suckered into promotional offers that could leave you wondering, “what if.”
